The Inspiration-Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was one of the most important inventors of the 20th Century with over 700 world-wide patents to his name. He was born on the 10th July 1856 in today's Croatia as son of a serbian orthodox priest. He studied physics in Graz , Vienna and Paris . He worked in the U.S.A. first with Edison and then in his own laboratory in N.Y. Tesla died in 1943.

He developed alternating current and a transformer for high frequency alternating currents with high voltage and small amperage (therapeutic application: Diathermy). This led to the development of neon tubes, radio transmission, remote control and hundreds of other applications,
which still play an important part in our daily life.

In accordance with the judgement of the American Federal High Court of 6.21.1943, the patents for the radio belong to him and not to Marconi!

Further inventions like a two-phase induction motor, three-phase current system and multi-phase engines, are based in the areas of energy and magnetism, weak power production and - transfer.
